Near the cart and boat, the author depicted local residents dressed in national costumes. In the haze of morning fog, the outlines of sailboats standing in the bay are barely discernible. The rays of the sun rising over the mountains fill the sky, the peaks of the rocks and the sea near the horizon with a warm lemon yellow color. In the misty haze on the tops of the coastal cliffs, you can see the ancient towers of the ancient Genoese fortress. The painting is imbued with lyrical romanticism, which is especially felt on Aivazovsky's canvases, painted in the so-called oriental taste.
